When we moved accounts over from the Old AskFRED to the New AskFRED, we moved a good bit of user data, but we did NOT move passwords. Passwords on Old AskFRED were stored securely, and to migrate them over would be near impossible. Similarly, passwords on New AskFRED are also stored securely.

So, once you have verified your User account's email address, we strongly recommend you set a new password immediately, because your password right now is not the same one you used before - it is just a temporary, very secure password we used in the migration. Without changing your password, if you are logged out or try to log in on any other computer, you won't be able to log in again until you use the Password Reset functionality.

Because of this, we strongly recommend you change your password immediately. You can do so here in your Change Password area if you are logged in, or here via the Reset Password workflow if you are not logged in..
