Occasionally you'll want to issue a partial refund. To do this, follow the Stripe documentation on issuing refunds. Note the area that discusses "partial refunds". This must be done in the Stripe Dashboard area, not in AskFRED.

In the near future, we're going to build in the ability to manage partial refunds, as well. But for now, Stripe is the best place to manage this scenario.

If you issue a partial refund and subsequently wish to issue a full refund on a registration, you should complete the full refund on AskFRED in the way you would normally. This allows FRED to refund the application fee.

If you do not do this, AskFRED will keep your application fee. We can refund this directly if you reach out to support, but it can't be done manually.
