Bout Committee members and Tournament Managers have the ability to add Shared Private Notes to Registrations. This gives you the ability to create persistent notes for each registration that you can then share amongst any other Tournament Managers that are associated with that Tournament.
Example uses might be to let everyone know that this person has already paid via cash or check, or that they have made a special request associated with the tournament.
Note that AskFRED will filter out certain sensitive data from these notes, such as a credit card number. Please don't use these notes for this type of data.
You can access these notes by visiting the "Manage Registration" link for each fencer, an example of which can be found below. The notes input will be about halfway down the page, and is a free-entry field that allows moderate formatting with some exceptions.
Additionally, Shared Private Notes will show up on the Tournament Inbox as well, so that you can make notes live while talking to someone through the messenger, and/or reference past notes when replying to a message. You can see the button to open the notes in the screenshot below:
