Changing or updating your email address is fairly straightforward on AskFRED.

First, visit your Settings area. You can arrive there by clicking the "My Dashboard" top-level navigation, and then the "Settings" sub-navigation item, or by clicking the User icon (pictured below, circled in red) and then clicking on "Settings".

In the Settings area, click the "User Settings" tab and then the "Change my Email" link in the list of links on the left of the screen.

This will take you to the system that allows you to change your email address. Please note that to change your email address, you'll need to first verify that you control the new email address in the same way you did when you first registered. An email will be sent to the new address and you'll need to click the verification link in that email. Once you do so, the new email address will be set to your address on your AskFRED account.

Please note that if you do not complete this verification process, the email address change will never take place.

Please note that emails are unique in our system - you can't change your email address to one that already exists in AskFRED.
